The Cushing® Utility Index tracks the performance of utility companies drawn from the S&P 500 Utilities Index (S5UTIL) and energy master limited partnerships (MLPs) drawn from the Cushing® 30 MLP Index (MLPX). Index constituents are selected and weighted based on current yield, with MLPs comprising less than 25% by weight at the time of Index rebalancing. The Index price level is calculated by S&P Dow Jones Indices and disseminated under the ticker symbol CUTI.
